The Béres Vineyards and Winery is a youthful, dynamic winery, a notable place in Tokaj-Hegyalja. It has been their goal from the beginning to create great wines using a modern approach and tools. Wines, which are worthy of the rank of Tokaj-Hegyalja and the historical vineyards that belong to the estate. Today we can say that they have achieved this goal. Owing to the excellent soil, microclimate, yield limit and the professional and gentle processing, their first vintage in 2003 already allowed them to introduce themselves with really nice, promising wines. Since then, they have achieved further success both in Hungary and abroad. Their motto, “Béres in every drop” is a reference to the fact that the winery is also characterised by the usual “Béres” values: quality, reliability and perseverance.

The dynamic aszú wine made from healthy ingredients is typical of this winery. Its scent becomes exciting by its typically spicy and grape flower character, nicely supplemented by the noble rot notes of apricot, honey and figs. The firmness characteristic of furmint is reflected in its taste, and the significant amount of residual sugar is balanced by a vibrant acidic backbone characteristic of the terroir of Erdőbénye. A sip stays in the mouth for a long time, displaying depth, which is made special by notes of fresh, yellow-flesh tropical fruits and citruses.
